Every client, regardless of the magnitude of the case, deserves to be served with competence and commitment.

Clients receive competent legal representation when extensive, relevant experience is combined with sound judgment. A broad transactional background in business, tax, and real estate is an advantage in that it provides an in-depth understanding of the issues underlying many disputes. A valuable perspective is gained by not limiting the practice to either plaintiffs or defendants.

Personal attention throughout the case, by the attorney whom the client met and hired at the inception, enhances effective legal representation. Commitment is evidenced by the continuing communication between the attorney and client, as the two-way flow of information is essential to informed collaboration. When warranted, the firm teams up with other attorneys or law firms to meet staffing needs in large cases.

While most cases can and should be settled, a good litigation attorney is willing and able to go to trial, if warranted. Extensive experience in settlement negotiation, strategic planning, and hands-on trial work optimizes outcome.

One fee structure does not fit all. In a law practice unconstrained by big-firm fee structures, a variety of fee arrangements beyond the traditional hourly rate is available, including contingency, blended hourly and contingency, flat fee, and results-achieved structures.
